From 30 June to 2 July over 60 participants gathered, including mayors and municipal experts from 10 different countries within the NOW Mayors’ Network, as well as researchers and NGO representatives from NOW Working Groups. Over the three days they learned about successful community projects and discussed topics pivotal to social cohesion in cities and communities.
From 10 – 12 April, the NOW Working Group Exploitation and Human Trafficking visited Belgrade, to get to know the local context, exchange experiences with local stakeholders and continue working on their projects.
The first Networking Meeting of NOW Working Groups gathered almost 50 interdisciplinary experts from 13 countries, working on several specific topics connected to social cohesion: Education & Diversity, Trauma Surviving, Children’s Rights, Exploitation and Gender Equality.
In connection with the 5th NOW Conference in Vienna the City Councillor Jürgen Czernohorszky and Act.Now organised a field exposure for the NOW Working Group of mayors and their accompanying experts to initiatives and projects of the City of Vienna.
At the third NOW Conference Act.Now established five thematic Working Groups. The group members met in June at The Bruno Kreisky Forum in Vienna for the first time.
